DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN., J AND R.POORNIMA.,J The Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant ordinary leave for 30 days without escort to the detenu Prabhu, son of Rengaraj, aged about 27 years, Convict No.24338, confined at Central Prison,Trichy. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.Mandamus sought for ordinary leave to the life convict, has not completed three years period of imprisonment. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4/State states that the request made on behalf of 2/5

the life convict for ordinary leave has been considered and rejected on the ground of ineligibility. Since this Court finds that the request been considered on merits and disposed of, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.
