This Writ Petition has been filed by Mr.Gopalakrishnan, claiming himself to be a legal nominee of Arayeeammal, who retired as a watchwoman from the Municipal Middle School, Manaparai.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that his grandmother Aarayee Ammal after retirement from service was getting pension only for 10 years from 01.04.1985 to 31.07.1995. But her service rendered in Municipal Middle School, Manaparai from 28.06.1966 to 31.07.1995 was not calculated. Since she has rendered more than 29 years of service, she made a representation during her life time that pension should be calculated from all the 29 years.

3. In the meanwhile, the petitioner was nominated as a legal heir. Subsequently, the said Aarayee Ammal died on 19.01.2014. Since the petitioner has been nominated to receive all the financial benefits in her absence, following the previous representation made by his grandmother, he made a representation dated 27.05.2010, to the subhttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

treasury Office, Manaparai, to receive pension and other financial benefits. Again finding no response, another representation was also given on 12.03.2015 with a request to calculate pension for all the 29 years and pay the same, but no action has been taken. Therefore, the petitioner has come to this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is hereby directed to consider the petitioner's representation along with the nomination form, dated 27.05.2010 showing the petitioner, as legal nominee of the Arayeeammal, and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
