Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorari calling for the records of the first respondent relating to initiation of disciplinary proceedings in R.C.A5/11414/2013 dated 13.08.2015 and quash the same on the ground of inordinate delay of twelve years as per the dictum of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. The charge memo, dated 13.08.2015, issued by the first respondent against the writ petitioner, is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the writ petitioner passed away and hence, the competent authorities passed an order in proceedings, dated nil.06.2017, stating that the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the writ petitioner got abetted. This apart, the benefit of appointment on compassionate grounds has also been granted to the legal heir of the deceased employee, namely, Ms.V.Shanthi. The learned Additional Government Pleader has also produced a copy of the proceedings, dated nil.06.2017 and 02.01.2019, issued by the first respondent, to that effect.

3. In view of the above, the legal heirs of the deceased writ petitioner are entitled to get all the terminal and pensionary benefits. Therefore, no further adjudication is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
