[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] We have heard Mr.N.Mariappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Manickam, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
2. The writ petitioner seeks for a direction to remove the encroachment, which according to him is a waterbody. The alleged encroachers are the respondents 5 to 7.
3. It is not clear as to why the petitioner has all of a sudden approached the authorities by way of his representation in July 2020 and asked for clearance of the alleged encroachment and thereafter approached this Court by way of this writ petition. The photographs filed in the typed set of papers show that the area is a coconut thoppu.
4. In any event, it is always open to the petitioner to pursue his representation before the authorities concerned, which shall consider the same in accordance with law. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
