This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to issue necessary direction to the third and fourth respondents not to lay the road in the petitioner's patta land of an extents of 2.12 cents situated in the Survey Number 924/2B and an extent of 89 cents of situated in the Survey Number 925/3B of lands of the Amabalapattu North Village, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District without acquiring the land by following the procedures stated in the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to issue necessary direction to the third and fourth respondents not to lay a road in the petitioner's patta land in Survey No.924/2B measuring to an extent of 2.12 cents and the land in Survey No. 925/3B measuring to an extent of 89 cents situated at Amabalapattu North Village, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District, without acquiring the land by following the procedures stated in the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the respondents are not going to lay a road on the petitioner's patta land in Survey Nos.924/2B and 925/3B situated at Amabalapattu North Village, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, I am of the opinion that there is no need to pass any specific order dealing with the entire averments made in the Writ Petition.

4. Hence, recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petition is closed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
