This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the petition dated 05.01.2024 and to dispose the application.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation was already considered and closed on 21.01.2024. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

3.Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the petitioner's representation was already considered and closed, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent 2/4

police to serve a copy of the closure report to the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report, if he is aggrieved, in the manner known to law.
