PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry based on the false complaint given by the third respondent. ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner in the guise of the enquiry based upon a false complaint lodged by the third respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, brought to the notice of the Court that based upon the complaint of the third respondent, they have registered in an FIR in crime No. 152 of 2026 dated 23.03.2026.

3. In view of the above said facts, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum. 24.03.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/4
