Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent 1 to modify the Master Plan for the Kodaikanal Municipality and consequently approve the Modified Master plan within the time frame stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) A request was made by the petitioner to modify the master plan for the Kodaikanal municipality and approve the same based on his representation dated 16.07.2015.

2.We are of the view that no decision can be taken on the representation of the petitioner by the respondents in hasty manner and it is for the authority to take a decision either way as it requires detailed consultation with various experts and therefore, without specifying any time limit, we only direct the first respondent to look into the matter and decide the same at the earliest. 3.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P(MD)No.2 of 2015 is closed.
