ORDER

The petitioner seeks to quash the final report in C.C.No.960 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tiruchirappalli U/s 34, 120(B), 406, 420, 427, 447 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.4/2021 on the file of the first respondent police u/s 406, 420, 447 and 506(ii) IPC.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in this case, while granting anticipatory bail to these petitioners in Crl.O.P(MD)No.7357 of 2021, the matter was compromised, which was also recorded in the order of the Court dated 05.07.2021. In the said order, schedule of payment for the amount involved in this case, is also mentioned. He further submitted that the entire amount has been paid by the petitioners. Hence, the learned counsel prays for quashing the criminal proceedings.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent/defacto complainant submitted that the entire amount has been paid by the petitioner as per the schedule of payment mentioned in the order made in Crl.O.P(MD)No.7357 of 2021.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.960 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tiruchirappalli, is hereby quashed in respect of these petitioners. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
