Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass final orders on the enquiry conducted on 07.08.2017 as per Na.Ka.4207/2016/A-1 within time stipulated by this Court in respect of S.No.1849/1 and other survey numbers in respect of total 24 properties situated at Allinagaram Village, Theni District. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthaiah, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. According to the petitioner, an appeal is pending before the respondent from 07.08.2017. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would also submit that notices were also served on the rival claimants and they also appeared for enquiry. In that event, the respondent has to be directed to dispose of the appeal expeditiously.

4. Accordingly, a direction is issued to the respondent to complete the enquiry, after serving notice on the contesting parties and pass orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such exercise shall be done after giving due opportunity to the petitioner and all the necessary parties.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
