ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Kuzhithurai to expedite the trial in the case in S.C. No. 235 of 2004 and pass Judgment within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for respondent submitted that 16- witnesses were examined by the prosecution before the trial Court and the investigating officer alone is pending for examination. The statement is recorded.

3. Recording the aforesaid statement, the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Kuzhithurai is directed to dispose the case in S.C. No. 235 of 2004, within a period of Two Months, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
