ORDER

This petition is filed seeking quashment of FIR in Crime No.127/2012 on the file of the first respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate would submit that based upon the complaint given by the second respondent, investigation has been undertaken. During the course of investigation, an agreement was entered between the parties by which the defacto complainant and others have received the money that was involved in the issue. Further, compromise was reached between the parties and the second respondent has given a statement that no further action needs to be taken on his complaint. On that basis, further action was dropped.

3. In view of the statement given by the petitioner, nothing survives for further direction or consideration in this petition. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
