ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioners in the guise of the respondents 3 to 9 complaint by considering the 1st petitioner representation dated 27.03.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in respect of the complaint given by the counter parties, the respondent police harassed the petitioners under the guise of enquiry by issuing several summons. However, no enquiry has been made in their complaint. He further submitted that the respondent police also harassed them to withdraw their complaint.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioners, enquiry is going on in C.S.R.No.55 of 2023. He further submitted that the counter parties also given 2/5
a complaint against the petitioners and on that basis only, enquiry was undertaken by the respondent police and no harassment has been made by the respondent police to the petitioners.
4.Since the petitioners have given a complaint, it is the duty of the petitioners to co-operate with the enquiry officer to complete the enquiry. During the course of enquiry. The second respondent shall enquire the petitioners by issuing summons. The petitioners are directed to appear before the enquiry officer and co-operate with him to complete the enquiry.
