ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the statutory appeal dated 10.02.2021 filed before the respondent under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983.

2.The petitioner seeks for rectification of the measurement in Patta No.8371 before the respondent. In such circumstances, he has filed the statutory appeal before the respondent. 3.Heard Mr.S.Pugalendhi, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the statutory appeal dated 10.02.2021 filed by the petitioner under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983 is disposed of expeditiously.

5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 10.02.2021 filed under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983, seeking for rectification of the measurement in Patta No.8371, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary parties, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
