ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the first and second respondents herein to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering his representation, dated 09.04.2019 & 11.04.2019 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 08.11.2021, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken and the same was closed. Today this matter is posted for the purpose of producing the closure report. But the closure report is not available.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6321 of 2019 3.Since the enquiry has been closed, question of harassment at the hands of respondent police may not arise. However, if any further proceeding is initiated by the authority in future, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings. In the meantime, the learned counsel for the petitioner may collect a copy of the closure report from the Public Prosecutor's office.

4.In view of above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
