This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to extend the period of lease by considering the overall circumstances for further period of 6 months by operating the Gravel Quarry in Survey No.32/2 of Settikulam Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District.
2.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the writ petition has been filed in the year 2014 and the lease https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
period has already been over and the prayer of extension of lease period for six months has also been over and hence, nothing survives in this petition.
3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed. No costs.
