This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners on 24.03.2025 under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, praying to grant an order of pre-arrest bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the First Information Report in Crime No.177 of 2025 on the file of the respondent-Police was closed as 'mistake of fact'. The above submission is recorded.

3. In view of the above submission, the petitioners have no reasonable apprehension of arrest at the hands of the respondent-Police. Hence, this Petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as not maintainable.
