Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2021 to rectify the defects in Patta and FMB regarding S.Nos.522/1, 522/3, 522/4 and 522/5 situate at Silukuvarpatti Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District within the time stipulated by this Court.

*********** This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. 2.According to the petitioner, the patta issued in the name of his father with regard to the property comprised in S.Nos.522/1, 522/3, 522/4 and 522/5 situated at Silukuvarpatti Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, is defective and there are errors found therein. The petitioner seeks for rectification of the same and he has given a representation on 08.04.2021 to the respondents. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Heard Mr.P.Athimoolapandian, learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.8305 of 2022 4.As seen from the documents filed along with this writ petition, the representation of the petitioner has already been forwarded by the first respondent to the second respondent on 23.04.2021.

5.No prejudice would be caused to the official respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2021 seeking for rectification of the patta is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2021, seeking for rectification of patta and FMB with regard to the property comprised in S.Nos.522/1, 522/3, 522/4 and 522/5 situated at Silukuvarpatti Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
