ORDER

The learned Additional Advocate General states that pursuant to the statement made by him on 03.04.2025, the key of the pennington committee was attempted to be handed over to Mr.A.M.M.Radha Shankar, the petitioner in the writ petition as well as the petitioner in the contempt petition. However, the said Mr.Radhakrishnan has refused to receive the key to the premises. The learned Additional Advocate General has produced a letter issued by the Tahsildar, Srivilliputhur, to that effect. 2/5

2. It is unfortunate that despite efforts taken by the Additional Advocate General, the petitioner is not co-operating to amicably resolve the issue.

3. Be that as it may, Mr.V.Shathurthi Raja, representing Mr.S.Kadarkarai, has received the key to the premises.

4. The efforts taken by the learned Additional Advocate General in upholding the order of this court are appreciated.

5. The learned Additional Advocate General has also produced instructions from the In-charge District Collector on 03.04.2025. In the said instructions, it has been mentioned that the F.I.R. in Crime No. 157 of 2025 will be withdrawn.

6. The said statement is recorded.

7. As the order of this court has been complied with, no further order is necessary in the contempt petition. Hence, the contempt petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected sub application is also closed. 04.04.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes 3/5
