O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, Madurai for speedy disposal of the case in C.C.No. 128 of 2021.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the sole accused in this case and the FIR has been registered in the year 2019 and after completion of investigation, the first respondent filed final report and the trial Court has also taken cognizance in C.C.No.128 of 2021, but without examining the witnesses, the case is pending for more than five years. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the second respondent's complaint, the FIR in Crime No.182/2019 was registered, for the offence under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC. After investigation, final report has been filed and the same was taken cognizance in C.C.No.128 of 2021. Now, the case is posted for examination of witnesses and already summonses were served to the witnesses L.W.1 to L.W.3 and the 2/5

respondent police will co-operate for the speedy disposal of the same and produce the witnesses as directed by the trial Court. The learned Counsel also brought to the notice of this Court that now the trial Court is vacant and the Judicial Officer in-charge is learned District Munsif, Melur. 4.Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and the case is pending from the year 2021 and so far no trial has been commenced, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.128 of 2021 as early as possible without giving long adjournment beyond fifteen days.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
