Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu namely "Kasirajan @ B.B.Kulathan Kasi" aged about 27 years, S/o.Rajendran before this Court who is now detained in the Central Prison, Madurai in pursuant to the detention order passed by the second respondent in No.12/B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V/2020, dated 16.06.2020 and to call for the records and quash the same and release the detenu at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed in No.12/B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V/2020, dated 16.06.2020, by the second respondent.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the Government itself has revoked the order of detention by the order in G.O.Rt.No.3275, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 07.08.2020. He has also produced the copy of the said Government Order.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as no further order is necessary.
