PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute of the petitioner with the third respondent. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Kameswaran For R1 and R2 : Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

According to the petitioner, he has filed a suit in O.S.No.33 of 2018 before the District Munsif Court, Vedasanthur, Dindigul District, seeking for permanent injunction and the same is pending. In the mean time, the petitioner was harassed at the hands of the respondent police. Hence, he filed the present Criminal Original Petition.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that it is purely civil in nature and if the petitioner will co-operate with the enquiry and place all the documents before the respondent police, the enquiry will be concluded, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4.In the light of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to complete the enquiry, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the cooperation of the petitioner.
