ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the father of the detenue to produce the person or body of the detenue, by name Karthika, D/o. Karuppasamy, aged about 22 years, and to set her at liberty.
2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor brought to the notice of this Court that the same petitioner had earlier filed a Habeas Corpus Petition in H.C.P.(MD) No.154 of 2026
and this Court dismissed the same by an order, dated 13.02.2026, recording the fact that the detenue is living with the fifth respondent. Once again, the present H.C.P. has been filed and at that time of hearing, the detenue was produced before this Court and she stated that she is living with the fifth respondent on her own volition.
