This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No. 177 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the second respondent, an FIR in crime No. 177 of 2025 has been registered, for the offences under Sections 420 of IPC. After investigation, final report has been filed before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court as 'mistake of fact'. 3.Since the prayer is to quash the FIR and now, the respondent 2//4

police has already completed the investigation and filed final report as mistake of fact, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. 4.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands closed.
