PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to direct the Respondent No.3, 4 and their officials not to harass the Petitioner consequently direct to not to interfere in the business transaction on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2026. For Petitioner : M/s.A.Joel Paul Antony For Respondents : Mr.A.Albert James Government Advocate(crl.side) for R1 to R4
ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondent police not to interfere in the business transaction on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2026.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, he is an Advocate by profession and practicing in Manapparai Bar. In view of some transactions with the respondents 5 to 7 herein, they have lodged a complaint before the fourth respondent and the fourth respondent is continuously harassing the petitioner under the guise of inquiry.
3. The learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent submitted that F.I.R. has been registered on 17.03.2026 at about 18.00 hours as against the 2/4
petitioner in crime No.120 of 2026, wherein the petitioner is the sole accused person.
4. In view of the registration of the F.I.R., the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for appropriate remedy.
5. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
