Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to post the petitioner as Staff Nurse in any one of the vacancy at Madurai District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 02.02.2023 in the light of the G.O.(MS)No.10, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (S) Department, dated 07.01.1994 and Government Letter (Ms)No.92/S/09, dated 22.07.2009 (Personnel and Administrative Reforms (S) Department). Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner is working as staff nurse at Tiruppur Medical College. She is suffering from 40% locomotive disability due to polio paralysis. The petitioner has also set out few other circumstances in support of her plea for transfer to Madurai.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner draws my attention to Letter (Ms)No.92/S/09, dated 22.07.2009.
4. The second respondent / competent authority is directed to consider the petition mentioned representation by taking into account the petition mentioned Government orders and the Government letter and pass order within 2/4
a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. I am only nudging the second respondent to take a call.
