This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents to give adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner while attending Kodaivizha Festival scheduled to be held on 26.04.2022 at Arulmighu Santhana Mariamman Temple, Kurichikulam Thalaiyuthu Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 22.04.2022.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has sent a representation, dated 22.04.2022 seeking for police protection and it is pending on the file of the third respondent.
