ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble G.R.SWAMINATHAN J.) The writ appeal has been filed against the order dated 13.11.2024 made in W.P. 1/3

(MD)No.26984 of 2024. Since the appellant herein is not a party to the writ proceedings, this civil miscellaneous petition has been filed.

2. It is seen that the writ petitioner submitted rental agreement for registration. The registration was refused. Challenging the refusal check slip, the petitioner filed W.P.(MD)No.26984 of 2024. The learned single Judge citing the earlier precedents set aside the refusal check slip and directed the registering authority to register the document on it being re-presented. The grievance of the appellant herein is that he is an existing agreement holder and that in suppression of the same, the order has been obtained. We make it clear that the registration of the document submitted by the writ petitioner will not in any way by itself affect the rights of the appellant herein. As and when the appellant's rights are sought to be affected, the appellant can defend himself in the manner known to law.

3. With the aforesaid observation, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
