Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.06.2015 and to conduct an enquiry against respondents 3 & 4 on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner under the Human Rights Act 1993 read with State Human Rights Commission Tamil Nadu (procedure) Regulation Act 1997.

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The petitioner alleges that there is some harassment by her house owner and therefore, she preferred a complaint to the Police. Based on that, a case has also been registered in Crime No.536 of 2014.

2.We find from page 3 of the typed set of papers filed in support of this writ petition that a charge sheet has also been laid.

3.Whileso, the petitioner has approached the State Human Rights Commission for taking action against the police officials. The State Human Rights Commission has also initiated proceedings by issuing notice on 17.07.2015. Therefore, we find that the present writ petition has been filed to consider the representation of the petitioner appears to be totally superfluous and unnecessary. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
