O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to file final report in Crime NO.96 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent police within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).
3. It is clearly stated in the petition that the petitioner has preferred a private complaint on 11.04.2015 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi and thereafter a case has been registered by the second respondent in Crime No.96 of 2015 for the offences under Sections 147, 427, 294(b), 506(i) I.P.C. and 3(i) of PPD Act. Further it is also stated that the second respondent has not taken any action as contemplated under law. Furthermore, it is also stated that the petitioner has also submitted a representation by registered post on 03.02.2016 to the first respondent.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is very much
correct in approaching this Court by stating that till this date, the second respondent has not taken any action as contemplated by law. The respondent police have also not stated any acceptable and sufficient reasons for not taking further action in accordance with law.
5. Considering the above mentioned facts and circumstances and also on perusal of material records, this Court directs the second respondent to take appropriate action as contemplated by law with regard to F.I.R in Cr.No.96 of 2015 dated 09.07.2015 within a period of two months from today without fail.
