Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Advocate General assisted by the learned standing counsel for the respondents.

2.It is seen that G.O.(Ms)No.84 Transport Department dated 24.07.2024 has been issued for settlement of partial terminal benefits to the retired / voluntary retired employees of the corporation covered during the period from December 2022 to March 2024. The petitioner had voluntarily retired on 21.04.2023. The petitioner is suffering from cancer. His case will be treated as special case. The moment, the funds ordered to be disbursed under G.O.(Ms)No.84, dated 24.07.2024 reaches the corpus of the respondent corporation, the petitioner's entitlement will be settled first.

3.With this direction, the contempt petition is closed. 16.08.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias Issue order copy on 19.08.2024.
