Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner dated 08.01.2014 to go on voluntary retirement and sanction and pay voluntary retirement pension and all other attendant reitrement benefits to him within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court in accordance with Rule 16 (a)(ii) of Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Pension Fund Trust Rules.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to pass orders on the application submitted by him, dated 08.01.2014, whereby he sought for permission to go on voluntary retirement. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though such an application was filed as early as on 08.01.2014, till this date the same has not been considered, which causes great prejudice to the petitioner.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.01.2014 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
