This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti to expedite the trail in C.C.No.649 of 2023.
2.According to the petitioner, he is the sole accused in this case and based on the complaint given by the second respondent, the first respondent registered and FIR in Crime No.178 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 304(A) and 279 of IPC and after completion of investigation, the first respondent filed final report and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.649 of 2023. Now the case is pending without any commencement of trial . Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the case in C.C.No.649 of 2023 is posted for examination of witnesses. He would further submit that the respondent police will co-operate for the speedy disposal of the case and produce the witnesses as directed by the trial Court. 2/4
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition by recording the above said submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.649 of 2023 as early as possible without granting long adjournments beyond fifteen days.
5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
