Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the Respondent No. 3 to consider and take necessary action on the representations of the petitioner, dated 27.1.2023 by rectifying the Field Map Book (FMB) Sketch of the land comprised in Survey Nos. 154/2 A, 154/2B, 155/1 and 152/2 situated at Valaikulam Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, pursuant to and also in the light of the Gift deed dated 17.8.2022, vide document No. 5671/2022 Registered at Sub-Registrar Office, Srivillputhur, Virudhunagar District within the time stipulated by this Honble Court. ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction to the third respondent / Tahsildar, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District, to consider her representation given by the petitioner on 27.01.2023 for rectifying the Field Map Book sketch of the land in Survey No. 154/2A, 154/2B, 155/1 and 155/2 at Valaikulam village, Srivilliputhur in 2/5

2. The petitioner is the beneficiary of the gift deed dated 17.08.2022 registered as document No.5671/22 in the office of the Sub Registrar Srivilliputhur. The fifth respondent had purchased 1/3 of the land. Therefore, she is also directly interested with respect to rectification of the FMB sketch.

3. The first respondent / District Revenue Officer may therefore issue notice to the petitioner and also to the fifth respondent N.Mallika, W/o. Navaneethakrishnan and in their presence, consider the representation and thereafter, if the petitioner's case is to be considered, proceed further. Otherwise, may pass an order in accordance with rules. Entire exercise may be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
