ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the sole accused in S.C.No.375 of 2025, on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Tenkasi, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein the petitioner has been charged with the offence under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 351(3)of BNS, and Section 3(1) (r), 3(1) (s) of SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989.

2. According to the petitioner/party-in person, the complainant namely Manisekar is not a witness in any case, where he is an accused person. Therefore, the entire case is a false case.

3. The learned Counsel for State of TN (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the complainant in the case namely Manisekar is arrayed as a witness as PW.10 in SC.No.254 of 2025 before the 2/5

Principal District Court, Tenkasi. The petitioner herein is the sole accused in the said case. Therefore, according to him, Manisekar is the witness in the case, in which the petitioner is an accused person.

4. Heard the petitioner (party-in-person) and perused the materials available on record.

5. It could be seen from the charge sheet that the petitioner is said to have threatened a witness in another case in which he is an accused person. Since specific overt act is attributed as against the petitioner herein, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition.

6. There are no merits in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
