This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in crime No.299 of 2020, dated 09.07.2020 for the offence punishable under Section 500 IPC and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 as illegal. 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police, on instructions, would submit that in the petition mentioned FIR, the first respondent police, completed the investigation and filed the final report as "Mistake of Fact" on 10.08.2020. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed.
