Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.11.2021 and include the name of the petitioner in Adangal Register in S.No.11/1 of Idayapatti Village Group, Madurai. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Ramsundarvijayraj For Respondents : Mr.B.Saravanan, Additional Government Pleader.

O R D E R

*********** This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2021 seeking to include his name in the Adangal Register in S.No.11/1 of Idayapatti Village Group, Madurai, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, he is doing agricultural activities in the aforementioned property and is a cultivating tenant. He has given a representation on 01.11.2021 to the respondents requesting them to include his name in the Adangal register for the said property. Since the said representation has 1/3

not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Heard Mr.S.Ramsundarvijayraj, learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.At the outset, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner can be considered only after hearing the landlord, for which learned Counsel for the petitioner has not raised any objection.

5.No prejudice would be caused to the third respondent if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the landlord and any other necessary party whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2021, seeking to include his name in the Adangal Register for the property in S.No.11/1 of Idayapatti Village Group, Madurai, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the landlord for the said property and any other necessary party whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire including granting them the right of personal hearing. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
