Respondent Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent namely the Sub Inspector of Police, Kottampatti Police Station, Madurai District to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 13.01.2016 lodged by the petitioner and amend/alter First Information Report registered in Crime No.18/16 on the file of the respondent by including offence under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent namely the Sub Inspector of Police, Kottampatti Police Station, Madurai District to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 13.01.2016 lodged by the petitioner and amend/alter First Information Report registered in Crime No.18/16 on the file of the respondent by including offence under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that, on the complaint dated 13.01.2016 given by the petitioner, investigation has been completed and the same was closed as mistake of fact on 31.03.2016 and a copy of the Closure Report has been served to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

4. Recording the same, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.
