: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 29.06.2015 given to the respondents and further to appoint the petitioner as Office Assistant in Panchayat Union Office, Tiruchendur.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by G.Madathi, seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 29.06.2015, to appoint her as office assistant, as she is a destitute widow.

2. When the matter is taken up, Mr.Sateeshkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the selection committee has found one Mr.S.Ganesan, as more suitable than the petitioner and therefore, he was appointed in the said post. Since the petitioner has not challenged the appointment order issued to the said Ganesan, the writ petition is dismissed. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to serve the copy of the order, appointing the said Ganesan, to the petitioner, in the course of the day. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same, if so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
