Respondent/Respondent Complainant Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to grant extension of time granted in the order made in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6594 of 2020, dated 25.06.2020 on the file of this Hon'ble Court in connection with the case in Crime No. 693 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police and to pass such other orders as this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. J.LAWRANCE, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 25.06.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6594 of 2020, directed the petitioner to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti with two sureties, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready. According to the petitioner, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner was unable to appear before the Magistrate concerned with two sureties, within the stipulated time and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, time granted by this Court vide order dated 25.06.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6594 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
