This Criminal Original Petition is filed to issue a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide with proper police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 15.05.2019.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he purchased the land measuring to an extent of 37 cents in survey No.987/4D and 45 cents in survey No.984/1 and along with motor in survey No.987/4E situated at Levanjipuram Village, Radhapuram, Tirunelveli District from one Selvarani, w/o.Balakrishnan on 13.06.2018. From the date of purchase, he is in possession and enjoyment of the property and he made fencing around his property. The private respondents who are the adjacent land owners of the property had damaged the fence. Based upon the above said incident, the petitioner made a complaint on 15.05.2019 seeking police protection. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4.Considering the oldness of the case, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the enquiry by issuing notice to the private respondents within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pass orders on merits. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
