ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent to take action against the 7th respondent, who according to the petitioner, followed the system of Excommunication against the petitioner's family and his relatives during the Shri Kaiyamman-Mariamman Thirukovil, festival in April 2023. The said Thirukovil is situated at Theethakilavanoor Village, Vedasandur Taluk, 2.The festival has been conducted. The relief sought for in the writ petition is narrow and does not survive. A direction is given to the fifth respondent and to the sixth respondent that if in future, the petitioner or any of the relative of the petitioner, complains of ex-communication, then they must issue notice and take appropriate action against the named individuals, who according to the petitioner is responsible for such practice.
