to cancel the Joint Patta No. 3032 issued in favour of the said Vasanthakumar and remove his name from my separate patta for the Petitioner's property bearing Punjai Survey No. 64/2 to an extent of 0.97 Ares (2 Acre 41 cent) situated at Eechantha Village, Sankarankoil Sub-Registrar Office, Sankarankoil Taluk, Tenkasi District based on his representation dated 13.08.2024 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to cancel the joint patta issued in favour of private parties. Admittedly, the patta was mutated in the name of the writ petitioner. Though the petitioner prays for a direction to the third respondent, learned Government Advocate would point out that the competent authority is the second respondent Revenue Divisional Officer. However, I find that the representation is also given to the second respondent as well.

2.Accordingly the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to hear the parties and dispose of the same within a period of twelve [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
