O R D E R
In this writ petition the petitioner is seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to sanction the education loan to the petitioner basing on her loan application submitted to the second respondent bank within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the second respondent has filed a counter affidavit stating that since the petitioner's father is an employee of Indian Bank and he has suppressed the said fact.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner's father has been suspended from the bank but the mother of the petitioner is working as Lab Technician in Government Hospital, Pattukottai and she is a Government servant and she is prepared to give necessary guarantee and the petitioner's father also would stand as guarantor and therefore, the respondent may consider the same.
5. Therefore, the respondent is directed to consider the application in the light of new development namely the mother and father will be guarantors and the mother being the Government servant shall https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
execute the necessary guarantee. The respondent is also directed to consider the educational loan application of the petitioner as per IBI norms and pass orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
