: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the circulars of the Reserve Bank of India, the first respondent herein, circular RBI/201415/179/DPSS.CO.PD.No.316/02.10.002/2014-2015, dated August 14, 2014, and subsequently issued clarification circular DPSS.CO.PD.No.659/02.10.002/2014-2015, dated October 10, 2014 and quash the same as it is illegal and violative of natural justice and subsequently, to direct the respondents not to order collection of charges towards any withdrawal made by savings banks account holders in the light of the fact that banks are people's entity and the common man ought to benefit and not be distraught. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

********** [Order of the Court was made BY The Hon'ble The Chief Justice] The issue raised is of the circular issued by the Reserve Bank of India, dated 10.10.2014, seeking to regularise the number of transactions (three) while using ATMs. We find that this is purely a policy formulation taken by the expert body, being the Reserve Bank of India and it does not call for any interference in a public interest litigation filed by an Advocate. The writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are dismissed. No costs.
