2. When the matters are taken up for hearing today, there is no appearance for the petitioners.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) would submit that both the cases are cases in counter. During the course of investigation, the parties entered into compromise in the presence of elders at village level. Based on the statement given by both the parties, further action has been dropped. RCS notice is also served upon the defacto complainant in both the cases.

4. In view of the compromise reached between the parties, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in these matters. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
