ORDER
The petitioner School submitted an application for grant of recognition. As directed by the Educational Authorities, they have submitted the requisite documentary evidences for the purpose of getting recognition. Yet, the application is pending before the respondents with effect from 27.04.2016. No School can be run without recognition. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court for consideration of their application for grant of recognition expeditiously.
2. Heard Mr.Isaac Mohanlal, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the application is pending from 27.04.2016, a direction is issued to the second respondent/Chief Educational Officer, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil, to consider the application of the petitioner dated 27.04.2016, together with the rejoinder dated 30.01.2017 and take a decision either to grant recognition or to reject it, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
