Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner as well as to erect fencing in the petitioner's property situating in land in survey no.1834/2C, situating in Kullapuram Village, Periyakulam taluk, Theni District and thereby considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2021 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner based on his representation dated 15.03.2021.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to property dispute the fifth respondent gave a complaint before the third respondent, on the basis of complaint given by the fifth respondent/defacto complainant, the respondents 1 to 3 called the petitioner for enquiry continuously and harassed him. In this regard, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 15.03.2021 to the 1st to 3rd respondents seeking police protection. 1/3

However, no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner filed the present petition seeking the aforesaid relief. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2021 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
