: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's objections dated 28.01.2015 and survey the entire stretch of the Odai passing adjacent to my land in Survey No.415/2 at Kombaipatti Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, by following due process of law. *********** Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider her objections dated 28.01.2015 and survey the entire stretch of 'Odai' passing adjacent to her land in Survey No.415/2 at Kombaipatti Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, by following due process of law.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that on account of heavy rain, 'Odai', has been destroyed. But the authorities are measuring her lands, without taking into consideration of the entire stretch of the land, where the said Odai is running and therefore, the petitioner has raised objections on 28.01.2015.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that after the monsoon, the said Odai, situated near the lands of the petitioner, has been damaged and therefore, the authorities are measuring the lands for the purpose of reconstruction of 'Odai' alone and if the petitioner makes a proper application in support of her claim, the same will be considered.

5. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, the Writ Petition is closed, directing the petitioner to make necessary application with all relevant documents.
