The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking orders to quash the proceedings in M.C.493/(110 Cr.P.C)/2019, dated 08.05.2019 on the file of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate cum Sub-Collector, Cheranmahadevi, Tirunelveli District 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e.,15.12.2021), there is no representation for the petitioner. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that since summon was issued in M.C.493/(110 Cr.P.C)/2019 on 08.05.2019, nothing survives for further adjudication.
